How Check In/Out Workflow Works with Botimum

The Check In/Out Workflow is designed to keep everyone in the team informed about their teammates’ presence status throughout the day. Here’s how it works:


1. Daily Check In/Out Card

  • Every day, a Check In/Out card is sent to a designated Slack channel.
  • The card includes:
    • Check-In Options: Ex. Home, Office.
    • Check-Out Options: Ex. Lunch, Check-Out.

2. How Team Members Use It

  • Starting the Day:
    Team members begin their working day by selecting a check-in option.
  • Temporary Check-Out:
    Members can indicate temporary absences (e.g., by choosing Lunch) and check back in when they return.
  • Ending the Day:
    At the end of their workday, members select the Check-Out option to call it a day.

3. Real-Time Availability

  • The Check In/Out card allows team members to quickly see who is currently available and where they are located.

4. Presence Data Analysis

  • Botimum collects and analyzes presence data.
  • Detailed insights are available in the web dashboard, helping managers and teams track attendance trends and optimize team workflows.
